Position Summary

We are currently seeking to appoint a National Equipment Products Manager (Australia) to work in our marketing team based in Sydney. 

The successful applicant will be able to understand the welding end user and market requirements for equipment, and identify product range gaps, features and opportunities for product range development. To be able to work closely with the intercompany supply network and key personnel to ensure the Australian requirements are meet with new product development.

Responsibilities

Have excellent knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand Welding  industry. The ability to develop welding equipment to meet local requirements. Provide portfolio strategies that align with the Sales & Marketing goals and objectives. Deliver a professional level of technical support and solutions for equipment products marketed by the Company to customers and stakeholders. Proactively drive product life cycle evolution to minimize excess and obsolete stock levels. Perform market analysis and reviews to develop and exploit market share growth opportunities. Provide technical support to the equipment product range.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have considerable exposure, minimum 3 years and a solid understanding of the Australian & NZ welding markets. Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and a knowledge of the welding industry and welding applications. Prior experience with product management will be an advantage. Strong project management, multi-tasking and time management skills. Proficient in MS Office applications, Salesforce and SAP systems. Proven experience with innovation and the ability to generate new ideas is key to this role along with your strong communication and problem solving skills
