
This program is intended for welding personnel seeking to enhance their occupational knowledge through structured theoretical training and to obtain formal qualifications for welds they routinely perform, or to upskill and gain qualification in additional weld types/positions.
Day one: This will cover the BASIC non-mandatory job knowledge theory component of AS/NZS ISO 9606.1 covering the following topics:
Days 2, 3, 4 and 5 will include practical welding training and examination, with students able to select from the following weld option

AS/NZS ISO welder qualification uses similar testing methodologies to other standards, but due to its recognition in many application standards and strict welding criteria, this allows the welder to work within their qualified range across the following standards:

No official qualification is required for course entry although, welders need to have current basic practical experience in the welding process for which qualification is sought.
