Metallurgy II builds on the principles described in
Metallurgy I to provide a basic understanding of the nature of metals and the
properties that affect weldability. Topics include various metallurgical
phenomena which, if disregarded, can lead to cracking, porosity, or welds with
poor properties.

Materials
Course Length - Approximately 6 hours
While no prior courses are necessary to fulfil
prerequisite level knowledge, we advise novice students to take our Welding
Fundamentals I course to become more familiar with welding terminology.

If you're not currently a member, you can create a Guest profile instead, which will allow you to bookmark courses as well - just click on 'Membership Application' then on 'Apply Now' and select Guest from the dropdown menu.

That course session will then be saved under 'My Bookmarked Courses' in your Weld Australia profile. When you are ready to register, you can then find it there. We will keep users who bookmark courses updated with any changes or updates to the course you have bookmarked.
