Based on the AWS A2.4:2012 Standard Symbols for Welding, Brazing, and Nondestructive Examination, this in-depth, online course employs audio narration, animated graphics, and interactive practice problems to make even the most complex welding symbols easy to understand and use. Understanding Welding Symbols is ideal for anyone involved in the design, fabrication, or inspection of welded, brazed, or soldered joints.

While no
prior courses are necessary to fulfill prerequisite level knowledge, we advise
novice students to take our Welding Fundamentals I course to become more
familiar with welding terminology.

You need to be logged in to bookmark a course, so if you aren't logged in do so by clicking on 'Member Login' in the top right hand corner of this page. If you're not currently a member, you can create a Guest profile instead, which will allow you to bookmark courses as well - just click on 'Membership Application' then on 'Apply Now' and select Guest from the dropdown menu.
Once you're logged in, you can bookmark any course by clicking on the grey 'bookmark' icon next to the course location. The course is bookmarked when the icon turns pink.
That course session will then be saved under 'My Bookmarked Courses' in your Weld Australia profile. When you are ready to register, you can then find it there. We will keep users who bookmark courses updated with any changes or updates to the course you have bookmarked.
