Online - AS1796 Certificate 1-9 Theory

An AS1796 Welding certificate is one of the accepted welder certifications.  It is used in both structural and pressure equipment Standards. It is by far the most well known and requested welder certification nationally.

The course is delivered online over 15 sessions, live via Zoom. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, in real time, of our experienced welding technology trainer.

The training will cover topics 1-18 outlined below.

Participants will have access to our online learning platform where they will find the course notes, and a quiz after each session. There will be a final online assessment, and a certificate of completion issued providing evidence of completion of the theoretical requirements.  Participants are then required to complete the practical training and examination at a TAFE or a similar training organisation. Weld Australia does not conduct the practical training.

Please see the COURSE SCHEDULE for details.
